I just buy mine at the local auto parts store. After trying a lot of the recommended bulbs I've seen here, they don't seem any better or worse. If you can find the Sylvania SilverStar type, that seems to work well. But it is a common part and very easy to find. Same bulb used in my K1200LT actually. When the bulb on that bike burned out on me on a cross country trip, I just stopped at the first Truck Stop off the interstate and bought a replacement bulb and spare (some places only sell them in pairs and that truck stop was one such place).

Most gas station/convenience stores carry them too. Really easy to find.

Pretty straightforward as well on the 600 sport. However, it isn't obvious how to unplug the plug without knowing how the bulb looks. It has to be pried off with a screwdriver but be careful not to break the plastic tabs holding the assembly to the reflector. I gotta say, this bike is more plastic than any other bike I've ever owned-except maybe for a chinese scoot I owned for a little while. Flimsy stuff. I'm putting in a H7 55 watt from Amazon (2 for 12 bucks). I did take off the plastic and remove my battery, only because I could not figure out how to remove the plug. Now I know. Little pita.
