    What stays on the handle bar end when the lock is not there? BTW - fantastic color bike!

    People steal scooters all the time in Boston.

    We are having a big problem with scooter thefts in London at the moment as the youths are going two up doing approx 30-40 phone and bag snatches a day

    It's like a pin at the end of bar end they
    Lock together but good thing is once the lock locks onto it it spins so no one can get any leverage to try and take it off

    This is what the bar end looks without the lock fitted not the best looking but hey security comes first

    Thanks for the pic. I wondered whether the bigger metal ring and end cap stayed on. It doesn't look so bad and I'm sure deters opportunistic bad people as it looks quite serious.

    Yeah, I agree and the deal was pretty great. Plus, it looks like you could use the thing as a weapon!

    I carry a cable lock I bought from Cycle Gear. So far the only thing I've used it for is locking my riding suit to the scooter (via the grab rails) when I just wanted to walk around without looking like something out of a comic book (and the underseat storage was full).
