    Removing backrest on 2018 C650GT

If the backrest is removed and not used, is there anything unsightly there? Or something that will jab you in the rear?

I'm 6'2", 210 lbs, and I think It might be more comfortable if I removed the backrest completely so I could scoot back a couple of inches. The backrest is already in its rear-most position.

It takes a whole 30 seconds to remove it... It looks like crap... but that's my opinion... try it and see what you think. I didn't like it.

That's good enough for me. It doesn't botther me enough to have something that's ugly. It stays.

Have same problem, I think only solution is to fit a Corbin seat, it doesnít have a bulky backrest so maybe there is at least an inch of extra space , but $800...... I donít know.... maybe I bend the knees a little.......
