Oh, is that all? You're lucky. I traded in a 2007 K1200GT on a C650GT. I am almost 60, no violations, no claims. Progressive had me at $535 for the year on the K. On the scooter... wait for it... just under $3,000.00 a year.

I have followed this thread for quite awhile and I must say many of the posts amaze me. Is it possible a relatively intelligent (I mean after all you bought a BMW) group of people can have problems trouble shooting the simplest of things like refueling? Come on people, it's not that difficult.

Just get the AeroFlow windscreen and be done with it.

Also, when you turn the key and BEFORE you start it... let the bike go through it's complete startup routine. It's like starting up a computer and trying to do something before all systems are GO. I found this to give me an accurate gauge reading even on my R1200RT.
