Serious fault in e-Drive - error message

This looks similar to a message i got. The bike did eventually start again after turning off for a couple of minutes. I ended up using the warranty company to ship it back to the dealer in another state. They updated the software and said it checked out fine.

    Headlight Fogged and Strange Sequence?

If you put your hand under the headlights you will find its not sealed. With the right tool and a microfiber cloth, you could add some anti-fog spray to the interior of the glass. Congrats on the new bike.

    A couple mods

Oh yeah totally missed that, needed sleep that night. I increased the pre-load on the back spring a bit and the shorts aren't needed anymore.

Long-term review of the BMW CE 04 (The Suit & Tie Rocket Ship)

Great write up. Have you considered putting your feet on the foot pegs for an alternate seating position? May be easier for taller riders.

I put orange window tint on both my small and large windscreen. Can't tell unless you look closely.

    Asking for a friend.

Ok really me as a bike noob. Is this the standard size for motorcycle 12v ports or is this euro spec. Went to charge my helmet while out and was surprised to find this.

    Starting bike

Had the same issue. Figured out it was the 12v located behind the wing on the right side. I had the screen come on, flash a message and turn off. If yours is completely dead you may want to replace it. I charged mine and it was fine.

CE-04 Tire thread: longevity, range, replacements

I got to 5,800 miles on the stock tires before i noticed some turns felling a little sketchy. At 6,100 now and it doesn't feel any more unsafe than 300 miles ago. (shrug) I have front and rear Michelin pilot 4's on order and getting them installed next week. I do sit further back on the hump...

    CE-04 Acceleration

In the connected app a measures a lot of metrics get measured, one being g force for acceleration and deceleration. I have only hit .9g's on both at 19.7 stone. You could be spot on if your weight is distributed somewhat evenly. I have learned you need to brace yourself and lean forward if you...

Help please...installing rear wheel OEM decals

Layherdown. lol. Put a towel or cardboard next to the bike and lay it on its side. It will give you a better angle than 90 degrees. Edit: For clarity I mean on the 45 degree slope on the sides of the battery, not completely on its side. I had a low speed screw up when I first got the bike and...

    CE-04 Killer?

I don't know if this is a killer but a "possible" competitor. https://www.rideapart.com/news/658199/felo-fw06-electric-scooter-launch-france/

Help please...installing rear wheel OEM decals

Are you installing with the wheel still on the bike? I would definitely take it off to make sure i could put even presure on it.

    CE-04 Killer?

Scooters in general are way more popular overseas. I would be surprised if it makes it to the states, but there is something to be said about a manufacture making bikes for as long as BMW has. It looks cool and good on paper. I would say that is a definite city/urban bike where as the 04 is more...

    Finally took delivery

If you need warranty service, call roadside assistance. If the only place that can work on the bike is 300 miles away (mine was over 200) they will pick it up and ship it there and back. Your ticket will need to get approval on the Urgently ( Roadside assistance) side but you wont come out of...

I bet no one is getting this kind of mileage.

Pray that you don't because the bike wont start. Last ride was uneventful, no issues to make me think anything was wrong. Parked it in the garage, attached the charger like I did any other time. I will call BMW in the morning. I removed my city but the mileage from the bike is real. TLDR: 12v...

    Charging advice please.....using public chargers

It won't fit because the female part on the bike blocks the bottom part of the charging cable. An adapter may work if you can find one.
