I got a Speedmetal cover for my GT XL size last year after my Dowco ripped at the seams after only one season here in Colorado. So far the cover works great with wind, snow and rain, and fits snug.

It is the whole mirror assembly and the mirror is on a ball/swivel joint that is very tight and you may break the mirror trying to remove it. Like I said earlier the turn signal modual is not available separately from the assembly. To remove the mirror assembly you need to remove the side...

Also taking it the assembly off is not easy especially on the Left side.

Sorry but from experience you need to either buy a new mirror assembly for +600.00 USD, or find a used one, the light modual is not replaceable.

I hope this will help, I'm probably guessing but since the seat latch is cable operated, you may be able to take the cover off below the ignition switch exposing the cable connection to the switch body. Then you maybe able to manually pull the cable to release the seat latch.

Try spraying the pads with Cayenne pepper, one bite and they'll usually leave it alone

Thats the riders/owners manual, the OP is looking for the more comprehensive and detailed service manual.

If you can talk them into it, A BMW dealer is the only source and only in digital form on CD. I think BMW limits it to only one per dealer shop.
