Good luck. I think you are high on price - bought mine ('13, but same model and "out the door" price) with 420 miles for $8500 from bmw dealer.

i just bought a 2014 blue 650gt payed $10,110 out the door..all sales tax and plate fees included.. i would love to hear what guys(or girls) are paying for thier scoots, and what the service dept is charging for the services..they seem quite expensive compared to other scooters or mc's

Owning a BMW means getting comfortable with their preventative maintenance schedule. Shop time is what it is per hour and I'm fairly certain Honda Yamaha Kawasaki HD are prob about in the same ballpark on shop time labor.

Yup. I have found shop labor hourly cost to be comparable to others in the same geographic whether it is my Beemer, Kawaski, or Harley dealer. And this is gonna sound a little naive, I suppose, but I trust the engineers behind my C650GT to come up with a maintenance schedule that will make my bike last the longest and be the most trouble free. This forum has some bike mechanics on it that I would trust with my bike, including any "off-schedule" requirements they recommend. I look for dealers where I can have that same level of trust.

i dont know..$375 for first service is quite high i would think..didnt pay nearly that for my 2012 goldwing on its first service..of course i have been out of the motorcycle loop for 3 years now..maybe the prices have skyrocketed!
