Brake hose recall - again?

Just received a recall notice from BMW UK saying that they want me to book the bike in so that they can change the front brake hose. This seems to be the same recall that's been around since at least 2016, and now we're in October 2020 - It's obviously very urgent (not!)

Anyway, there isn't a BMW workshop close to me, and I don't really fancy wasting a whole day on getting it sorted, So I plan on doing it myself. BUT - I can't find any aftermarket hoses for the K19 C650GT. Does anyone have any relevant part number or supplier information that they'd care to share - ideally UK or EU.

Also, does anyone know how much of the hose they actually change out - it seems to be a complete harness that has a flexi to each of the calipers, a rigid bit that joins them together, and another flexi that connects everything to what looks like the ABS pump / modulator. I'd guess that if the whole harness has to be replaced, it'll be expensive and OEM only, so I may may have to bite the bullet & go to BMW.

I'd appreciate comments from those who know about these things.

I just want to be clear. Is this the FIRST time you have been notified of the hose recall?
Or, is there now a SECOND recall and 2nd notice going out? THanks.

This is the 2nd front brake hose recall, to replace the hose installed on the 1st recall. See my Oct 2020 letter attached.

Thanks for posting the letter. I wonder if that applies to all of us, or just certain years.

I have a 2013 C600Sport, and when I booked my service last week, I was told about this recall.

They swopped the hoses as part of the normal service, at no cost.
- I thus don't know about the later models (post 2016), but it does affect the earlier(original K18) models.
