C400 GT front brake lever travel

I have a 2020 C400 GT with 1200km. The Bybre front brake lever can squish any finger left behind it under moderate to heavy braking. Front brake lever travels an inch to and inch and a half before braking action. A buzzing sound from the front brake discs, under front braking use. Dealer has bled brakes, then replaced front brake master cylinder ... did not correct situation. They seem to be giving up on this problem. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the lever mushy or does it just get too close to the handlebar? You should be able to adjust the angle of the lever with the dial on the lever if it is just getting too close.

There isn't a dial to adjust the lever, like on some bikes. The brakes aren't mushy. Just too much brake lever travel before braking action. Being able to squish a finger between the brake lever and the throttle doesn't seem right.
