Does anyone have the part number please.

C650GT >2016

Worth getting an upgrade kit? I just ride it, doesn’t need to be racer style.

Hi-
Are you trying to change the CVT belt & rollers ? Not sure what you're trying to "service" . Do you want add better acceleration ? Something else ?
Can you be more specific on what you want to do or change

Thx _ Mike

Changing out the belt, rollers, sliders. It sounded coarse and rattly.

Have now changed all three elements and hoping for improvement.

I’m waiting on 4 x new sliders to finish the job.

The job is finished. At low engine speeds, it seems smoother and quieter. After 10 miles, that quietness and smoothness is not so evident.

New belt (old one wasn't worn at all); new rollers (appeared unworn); new sliders (wear marks evident); new clutch plate (old one not worn); new white spring (wasn't worn at all). 8,000 miles up.

Parts from Italy Malossi. Slow in arriving and £56 to pay in duties. They sent the wrong sliders first time and claimed not to be able to supply the correct ones, even though the website promised. However, they were good enough to refund the cost (but not the postage both ways).

I had then to go to Motorrad for the correct sliders, which only come in a set with the rollers that I had just bought from Malossi. £78 for four moulded bits of plastic. Anyone want a set of OEM rollers?

The engineering is a doddle with the £100 special spanner kit, which makes it super easy to replace all. Its about an hour plus idiot surcharge.

The bodywork to get to it? Another story. Two hours off and two hours back on. 28 assorted screws, bolts, clips.

Well done!! Bummer for the sliders tho, but glad to know. What did u use for shaft grease, the recommended unirex 3? 4 hours of body work… respect 🫡

There was a little sachet of the grease included in the pack from Malossi.

The two hour disassembly was not knowing which next screw to remove, and having to hunt to find it, and fear of knackering the tiny plastic clips and having to buy an acre of plastic because the half inch clip broke. The two hour reassembly was putting that bit back before THIS bit FFS.

The best CVT service kit is a J.Costa with 23g rollers (more revs) or 25g rollers (same revs).
Then every 40Kkm you pay 45 EUR for just rollers. Oh yeah and Malossi X-K belt.
