Has anyone had the bike cut off

Brief Update on my stalling issue :

It turns out that the vacuum hoses was the problem. The Service Manager showed me the original hoses, one of them had a large crack in it which let too much air which caused it to run rough and cut out at low speeds. I put about 100 miles on the scooter since being serviced and it hasn't stalled.

I bought my scooter in November 2012 and park mostly outside or in a car port. Due to the age and the the cold probably caused the vacuum hoses to crack. I just hit 24k miles on it.

Just wanted to add to this thread, couple of times the I have noticed a hesitation when I try to accelerate with a cold engine. Second time it did that almost made me drop the bike (handlebar turned, leaning and sudden lost of power instead of acceleration when I gave it gas). I live on a major street so this is definitely scary. I idled the bike a couple of mins today while I put on my gloves, then took off and didn't seem to experience the same problem. Not sure if I want to test the cold theory again as it is quite scary when you bike does the opposite of what it is suppose to.

oh my bike is now 1900 km old when I got home today :)

I am experiencing this exact same problem, stumbles turning left accelerating when engine is cold. I exit my workplace onto a busy street, and its downright scary when the biker stumbles when I need it to GO! I have 7000 kms on it now (2016 C650GT) and will definatly mention this when I take it in for the 10K service.
Did you get this resolved?

Finally got my bike in two weeks ago, yes it was vacuum lines. Still waiting on the service manager to forward the pic he took. It looks like a cat had clawed diagonally across two lines. He said they connected to the ‘idle initiator’ system. Of coarse since it is a specialty molded vacuum line we are still waiting for them to arrive from Germany. Will report more when I get the bike back.

Would appreciate it if they also give you the part numbers to go with the pictures. Thanks!

Parts finally got here. Supposed to install Thursday. Could not schedule work until parts arrived. Asked for old parts back so I can post pictures. Will get part number from ticket.

I can wait for it!

Hoses fell apart when tech went to replace them. Tired of waiting on svc mgr to send pictures(they looked like a cat had shredded them). Part # from ticket is 13717725265 hose, idle actuator. Two twenty dollar hoses, but two and a half hours of labor to get to them. But it did solve the problem, bike is running great.

Thanks for the info. I'm in Calgary Alberta Canada. My 2013 C600 sport is also parked under a carport covered all winter. Stalling issues were not fixed when the dealer changed the air filter. i took it back to them and asked them to check the vacuum hose for the idle. My two hoses had small cracks that were the problem. hoses replaced and my scooter is running great again.
