Has anyone lowered a C400

My wife like the C400GT over the Vespa 250. Problem is the seat is a bit high for her. I was wondering if lower rear shocks and lowering the front forks a bit would be ok without sacrificing handling too much.

you could simply install shorter rear shocks if you can find some, but maybe you could also lower seat foam?

Not certain if that will work.

The seat is mid point for the C400GT. I’m thinking lowering the rear will have little impact on the seat height.

There is a lower seat option directly from BMW which only lowers the seat from 775mm to 760mm or just under 5/8” inch

Good luck!

Thanks, Byee. I didn't know they made a lower seat. Do you know the part number? Jim

Has anyone out there installed the HyperPro lowering kit SP-BM04-SSE003 on their C400x?
I would like to know if the ride quality is affected by these lowering springs.
Also, does it make the stock side stand too long, and does it make it more difficult to raise the bike on the center stand?
