Major Pisser! All excited to get my passenger back rest to take Linda on more rides! Rip open the box to find there's only the mount no pad WTF.

Call addicts and ask them why they show the pad in the listing? Guy don't know. Then I asked the magic question why not put a line in the listing "Does Not Include Backrest cushion" Guy Don't Know. On the positive side the mount is bullet-proof thick steel (heavy) should have been made with 6061 T6 aluminum since its going on a electric bike.

The bad news it appears as if there is no cushions in the US, so I got to try and figure out how to read the UK ads to get the right cushion for my shad mount . . . . . . I'm thinking that just maybe the cushion fits other bikes so it might be available after all.

The funny part is that In April when I had order form Shad USA they had the back rest but not the Bracket...
Go figure.

Got my Puig shield today could not be happier! It's definitely going to help range. Without the shield I'm a 2'x 1' flat air brake as air hits me straight in the chest. Hard to believe BMW would sell a electric bike with such an important piece of aerodynamics missing, I mean electric cars don't even use door handles because they create drag. They should put the shield on and charge extra, its mandatory on a EB.

I'm 6'2 and at cruising speed there is no air hitting anywhere on my body. Air over the top is about eye level which is OK since the helmet is somewhat rounded. Air flow on the sides hits right about where the mirrors are. Inside portion of the mirror there is no airflow and the outside is in the air flow.

Nice product very thick and they rounded (cupped) the edges for more strength. As expected there is some movement on the top of the shield from road imperfections and a small amount of buffeting but very acceptable. Here's a few images, I found the Shied at RevZilla $126 . I ordered it in smoke and it works well with the dark bike. If I had to I could look through it at night in the rain so its not real dark. It arrived in 2 days with free shipping. Hey guys here's some re-sized images a bit bigger - regretfully the forum limits even normal image size. The last image best shows the design of the shield with its center structure and cupped edges for strength, nice design.
