Intermittent ABS Warning Light

Just recently, I started getting an intermittent ABS light. The ABS light would not go out after starting a couple of times. Other times it came on during a ride. It's happened perhaps a dozen times in the last 500kms.

I can only guess at what it might be. The simplest would be a wheel speed sensor.

Anyone else have any guesses or insight?

I only get it when I first start up. Goes away after I start rolling. I'd take that in for service. Looks like a bad sensor.

Might be a faulty ABS sensor. Before you buy a new one, please clean out there, sometimes some dirt just gets stuck there.

I also started last summer with the abs light illuminating between the time the light came on while driving and when the power was turned off and turned on the abs brakes worked normally until the power off no longer helped. The light stayed on.
I took the bike to a BMW service center where the fault codes read.
ABS unit motor stuck. Replaced the warranty with a new one as it was still under warranty.
