What safety items would you never leave home without? Personally a helmet is an absolute must. Will never leave home without one nor let someone ride my bike without one. All other safety items come second. What safety item would you guys never leave behind?

I always ride with helmet, gloves, and mesh jacket. Always. If temps permit, I have some Olympia air over pants also. I always have small toolkit and first aid kit.

Here is my list when I go for a long ride for two days or more.

1. Protective gears
2. Foods that will last for a day, and a lot of water.
3. Money, ATM, Credit card.
4. Some ID’s and licenses
5. Map or GPS and phone.
6. Clothes

I agree with the “common sense”, never leave without it.

I would never leave home without my helmet, gloves, leather jacket, cell phone and my wallet. I truly enjoyed reading some of the comments you guys posted in this thread. Nice to be among fellow scooter aficionados with a sense of humor.

I might by no means go away without having the helmet, mitts, natural leather jacket and hand gloves, cellular phone in addition to the finances. I must say i relished studying a few of the comments an individual folks placed on this line. Nice being amongst man scooter aficionados which has a spontaneity. Every person will be sincere about the safety when riding be safe....

I never leave without my helmet, my gloves, and my jacket. All these are my protection and is a must when leaving the house. I have a cousin who died because of motorcycle accident and as to the witnesses, he was not wearing his helmet. Should he have worn it, that could have prevented from happening. The jacket I wear to protect my skin from the sun and dust, as well as my uniform from getting dirty. I went one time without a jacket, and the heat of the sun I could bear, but I was so ashamed of what my uniform looked like. Real dirty because of dust./

I never leave the house without my helmet, gloves, and glasses. I usually wear long sleeves and pants when riding. Everyone should wear a helmet though. It could mean the difference between life and death.

Of course you gotta have some cash on you.

I usually just bring cash in my pocket and that's about it.
Sometimes I distribute where I put my cash. Pocket, Secret Pockets of bags, shoes and others I could think of when preparing. you may never know if youll bumped onto a crook.
