Would be nice but I was just at my local dealer this weekend talking about the 2022 C400 lineup and he told me they have been told the c650 has no plans for this year or next year.

You can hope all you want, but it comes down to money. If they thought they could sell enough of them, they would keep importing them.

I would be more enthusiastic about the chances if companies like Honda and Yamaha would bring over some of their other scoots that are not currently imported here. They have the Forza 750 that is based on the 750x engine and dct tranny that looks really cool. Other companies importing existing bikes like that into the US and Canada would make me much more hopeful that BMW might do the same.

Now let Harley come out with a scoot and maybe American riders might decide that they are cool. But they are just getting into the ADV market, so that may take a while.

Yeah Honda needs to make another automatic scooter like the 750 you mentioned. I have always had a Honda
scooter cuz they are the best. I did try a Aprlia atlantic 500 cc it was a nice bike but the mechanics did NOT
know how to fix issues . I did have 1 for a yr. and it was running good but after a while it was rough running
and i took it to a dealer and they could NOT fix the issue. Yamaha should come out with a maxi scooter
touring brand

The issue is Americans don't ride motorcycles - as much as other countries. When I lived in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2009 thru 2016 I was commuting to and from work on a Honda 300sHi and with me thousands of others. Even in the wintertime, unless there was too much snow. Traffic congestion was the main driver, and it's the same in Amsterdam, Paris, London, Hanoi, Nairobi, etc. Then I come to Los Angeles in 2018. Perfect but I mean perfect motorcycle riding climate. Always comfortable, no rain ever. Tons of traffic congestion. And no motorcycles. Every day I scoot past ('lane split') hundreds and hundreds of commuters sitting for hours in their tin cans. I park anywhere for free, I get where I am going in half the time or less, consume 1/3 of the gasoline, cheap insurace, and I am practically the only one.

Well it has been a while since i have posted. I have yet to find a BMW on that www.smartcycleguide.com
website. I think who ever made that site does NOT do anything to help it grow. I have replied to 6 on that website
in the last couple of weeks with no avail. So that site is dead only the same listings for the past 2 months.

Cycletrader. Set up a search and it will email you with new results when they come in.
YES i do know that and i was letting ALL know about that site i mentioned above they do NOT update
anything on there at all. There is a add on cycletrader that has a BMW not to far from me.2016 model and
they are asking $8.299 for it. I checked kbb website and the bike is worth $7.299 with only 2.220 miles on it.
The Lady t6old me they are staying firm with that price. So hopefully it will sit for a little while and they may
reduce the price.

"need to know what the difference is between a BMW standard model or the PREMIUM model"

Simple. The premium version has what BMW calls the "highline package" ....

• Heated grips
• Seat heating
• Tire pressure control (RDC)

Easiest way to tell is the switches near the hand grips (photo).

Thank you for sharing that info so the standard model does NOT have the heated grips or heated seats?
The one i am looking at has those features and they wanted a HIGHER price $7.500 for a 2016.

"what are those cushy looking grips you have there?"

Geez, I thought they were stock. You got me curious so I went down to the garage for a closer look. They are slip on, like Grip Puppies, with the OEM rubber grips still underneath. It's not a Grip Puppies pattern, though, so I don't know who manufactured them. I will say, I like them. They feel kinda plush, very comfortable and VERY good at not retaining moisture -- i.e., sweat from palms, as I tend to keep a firm grip at all times. Photo below.

"so the standard model does NOT have the heated grips or heated seats?

Correct. Heated seat and grips + psi readings on the dash (use INFO switch to locate). I bought a showroom-like, black 2017 last year with 1,832 miles for $7,000. Can't recall what year yours is, but if it's '17 or earlier, I'd say the price is too high. Texas is a good market for big scooters. There will be better deals.

The Man that is selling it has the title in hand and it says 2016 but they bought it in the 2017

How many miles? If the body is in great shape and it's low mileage, I'd show up with $6,500 cash. I got a great deal on a Silver Wing the owner was asking $5,500 for by saying, "Okay, I have 45 one-hundred dollar bills in the car. $4500. That's all I brought. If you want them, you can have them. If not, that's cool." He was an accountant so maybe I hit a weak spot -- actual money in hand -- but he sold me the bike. Gotta be ready to walk away, though. That's how you get great deals. And great deals feel GOOD.

Best deal I ever made was a white 2016 BMW C 650 GT with 895 miles for $5,000 (two years ago). Timing is everything. I was first to respond to a little old lady -- literally -- who only rode it to visit her dying 90-year old mother. When she passed, the little old lady couldn't bear to ride the bike anymore and put it up for sale at $5,000. My eyes just about popped out of my head when I first saw that.

It wasn't perfect. Had some electronic issues where the CHEK OIL light kept coming on even though the level was perfect when I checked it. Drove me crazy. I must have checked the oil fifty times on that bike in two weeks. Also had several scratches where she dropped it in a gravel driveway and some hidden corrosion from being kept in a Jacksonville carport for four years. I got so frustrated by the CHEK OIL light I sold it to a guy in Fort Lauderdale for $6,500.

It was my first C 650 GT. I bought it on my birthday as a gift to myself. Took Amtrak up to Jacksonville, bought the bike and rode it home 302 miles home on US-1. One of my better b-days.
