Aria from beautiful country Philippines. Aside from big bikes, scooters are my thing. They served as my training partners. Scooters are very easy to learn and manipulate. Fit for my weighty consideration.

I don't know whether to make a new thread or post here.
Well here seems as good a place as any.
Hello all from sunny Cali, I hope everyone is having a great day.
Anyway I found this place because I was thinking about getting a scooter and I had some questions and wanted to see how people generally feel about bmw scooters.

New C650GT owner from SF Bay Area. I picked up my bike in early November and love it! I have been riding it almost everyday weather permitting. I am very impressed but not surprised! It is a BMW after all! :)

Another GT owner from SF Bay Area. Delivered in November and ridden most days since. Awesome machine. I've ridden many scoots over the years and my GT has been comparable in terms of fun and incomparable in terms of power and comfort.

Greetings. I'm Danners from Arlington, Virginia. Currently I ride a Vespa 300. I want a larger bike for touring; however, the bulk of my riding will be commuting in DC traffic. The C650GT seems like the perfect ride for me. I test rode one earlier this week and I loved it. I'm heading back this weekend to work out the details and see how long it will be before I can get my new ride.

Have been meaning to get a BMW scooter, almost as soon as i saw pics of them. So I traded in my K1200GT last fall (have been bike-less for a few months now, although we do have a riding "season" here in Wisconsin so haven't missed having a bike really, just riding in general like every winter).
So the dealer just said we'd wait until he got more scooters in and i can have my pick of colors, instead of determining the actual bike i would get.
The dealer has been after me for a little (a month or so) while to pick one out, since he had all 3 colors in stock. I have been all over the board on colors. First red, then black. Went up today to the dealer (about an hour trip one-way). My wife was immediately drawn to the bronze, and i have to admit I liked that color best in person, looks way better than it does in photos. They have a couple of these in stock and had just put the top case on one of them so decided to get the one with the case already on it, since I knew I would want the top case right away anyways.
Looking forward to picking it up, just wait for the spring weather to arrive!

Hello from southern Oregon. Just had my first service done on my C650GT (red) . I'm a senior citizen (76) and have had the pleasure of owning many motorcycles and for the last ten years I have included scooters. Presently in addition to the BMW I have two Vespa scooters and a Bonneville T-100 and am waiting for a Moto Guzzi V-7 special . Being one can never have too many two wheel toys , I'm keeping an eye out for the forthcoming BMW retro boxer . Being blessed to live in one of the greatest riding areas in this country, I have thoroughly enjoyed the first 650 miles on my BMW scoot . The handling and the performance are impressive . I hope more riders become aware of the virtues of scooters. Looking forward to BMWMOA international up the road in July. See YA ALL !
