I got my new C 400 GT in June, and have been doing just local day trips on it (although I have a multi-day trip coming up, later this month). Absolutely lovin' the scoot. I downsized from a vintage 650 Burgman Exec, and while that scoot had more power, storage, and acceleration, I don't really miss any of that. Instead, I've been focusing on the nimbleness of the GT, along and inconjunction with the loss of 140 scooter-pounds.
On my last day trip -- actually, one of my shorter runs -- I wound up with 3,100 miles on the odo now. That's a fair amount of riding for me, more than I usually do. Here's that trip -- which will be my last for more than a week, as I'm going for a visit by car for a few days, and there's also a lot of rain in the forecast -- if anyone's interested:
