I had this nifty little duffel bag I got for free when I subscribed to Cycle World some years back. Unfortunately, it was pretty flimsy (as you'd expect from something you get for free these days). It fit PERFECTLY under the seat of my C650GT, so I was looking for something a little sturdier to replace it.
After I took some measurements I started looking around. Aerostich had an Ortleib bag that was the perfect size, but like all Ortleib bags, it was WAY too expensive. It would've been great as a bag to lash to the saddle as it was pretty sturdy and weatherproof, but since I was looking for something already protected in the underseat storage area, it was overkill.
I found this nifty little item at the local REI and snatched it up. It's PERFECT. And when not in use, it folds into itself into a handy little hip back. It can also be converted into a lightweight backpack for carrying if you already have your hands full and can't use the handle.
