Thank you very much for the reply it helped a lot. Made me realize that i was missing getting the "hinge" clips out of the back of the plastic bit sitting on top of the battery that would allow me to pull it up and out. And by the Invisible Pink Unicorn that is not easy to get out of that...

Does anyone have an idea what is needed to remove the battery? I was adding a tender and dropped the screws and can’t get them out of the bike now. Looks like it should lift out but there is all the plastic in the way.

Thank you for this, I've been looking at getting that top case as well. With an odd question do you know if you can add the key lock for the BMW case into the SH59X? I think Shad makes the OEM case as well and figured it would be handy to have a lock that used the bike key to open.

I have the 2024 C400GT.

Where did you find that publication at? I have tried to search the site with no luck. It might be related to me trying to use the US site.

Is there somewhere online that I can obtain the service manual for the 2024 C400GT? I'm sure one for a previous year would work just as well for the 2024 but I can't seem to find any of those either.

Out of curiosity have you looked into or do you know if you can use the BMW lock cylinder in the Shad top case? I would love to be able to use the key I already have for my bike to secure the box as well. It's not high priority just something that would be nice.
