    Rear shock, is this normal?

It still could be excessive movement but I don’t think that’s my problem now. I don’t know, maybe replacing swing arm pivot bearings is next:(

    Rear shock, is this normal?

Thanks Steve. I don’t know if this means that the play I have is normal. Did you see the video I posted?

    Rear shock, is this normal?

Thanks @Ceesie76, that helps a lot. Yes I’m moving it with the tool for sag adjustment. That’s how I found out. I hope that’s the problem so I can finally solve the low speed wobble and crabbing ( lines on both tires on opposite sides) Ben

    Rear shock, is this normal?

Hey guys, I was trying to adjust the sag on my 2020 c650gt and noticed extensive play on the top bolt of the shock. The bolt moves up and down the rubber bushing. Please see the video and let me know if this is normal. Thanks, Ben...

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

Hey guys, just an update. After replacing the steering head bearings the handlebars wobble is gone. The motorcycle is much more stable at higher speed. Now at very slow speed at around 5-10mph I get vibrating in the handlebars and the bike sways. The road feels bumpy even though it’s not. I...

    C650GT 2017 handlebar cover removal

Hi Dan, yes I did:) there was no plan. Just remove the screws in the middle and start shaking the plastics and they will come off. I broke one pin removing them.

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

I’ll definitely do it at the dealership but it’s not that complicated. I’d say maximum 2 hours labor. Just front left and right panels need to come off, also the handlebars cover.

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

No news:) I’m still waiting on Michelin to approve the claim so i can replace the tires, but I suspect that’s not the problem. When the motorcycle is cold, I’m in NYC so temperature is around 30es, I feel swaying on very slow speed and then it gets better. I’m 99% sure the problem is in the head...

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

I tried today to remove the handlebars cover and check the torque on the head bearing but no luck:( couldn’t remove the plastic. I removed the center plastic easy, unscrewed all screws and it didn’t want to come off. Any tips?

    C650GT 2017 handlebar cover removal

Any tricks on removing the handlebars cover? I tried today and no luck. I removed the center piece easily, unscrewed all screws in the middle, the side ones and the ones under the brake levers. The front closer to the dashboard came off but the rest won’t come out.

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

Thanks, Everything was checked at BMW dealership and they said the motorcycle is in perfect condition. Now I’m waiting on Michelin to send new tires and see if the tires were the issue. I still suspect the steering head beatings or torque. At the shop they did some tests, rode the bike and said...
