The Metzler front tire

I am disappointed with the Metzler front tire mileage on my bike. Cuz now i need to replace the front tire which only has 5.300 miles
on it. the tire thread is getting way to low. . i just found this out yesterday when i was stopped on some water. turned the handlebars
and the front tire slipped abit.. . I thought the Metzler tires were good at mileage? Apparently NOT so i will buy a Shrinko front tire
to match the rear. I kept the front metzler tire properly inflated ever since i bought the bike in may of this yr. What is your opinion
on the Metzler front tire mileage wise?

Mine has 7900 miles now, am very near the wear bars, have a set of Michelin Road Pilot under the work bench and a new TPS sensor to install soon. I may be mistaken, but I didn't think Shrinko makes a front tire in our size.....

Shinko SR567 is for the front of the GT, SR568 is the rear. I have new ones ready to go.

Unfortunately, I'll have to use them sooner-than-usual because the OEM Metzelers on my 2015 are pretty worn at 2,600 miles (when I bought it last week). Seems the original/previous owner kept both tires at 28 psi -- and he wondered why the low pressure warning light kept coming on. Perpetual underinflation shortened their lives. It's actually good because if they had a lot of tread I might be tempted to stay with them for awhile, and both are date-stamped 2014, so it's time for new tires.

Yep, after seeing this last might I went and looked, found the 567 and got lost in the click bait and never came back to correct myself. This makes it even more odd that the PO had a Shinko rear and Kenda front on the scoot when I purchased it. The Metzlers were a great improvement, I hope the Michelins will step it up even more, although I haven't reached the limits of the Metzlers, or even came close to feeling like the tire might not stick.

The air pressure was always correct on the front tire . i do not know why it wore out so fast? At first when i
bought the bike i use one of those cheap air gauges and i find out that those air gauges were way off.. On the rear
tire i saw the low air warning light come on when i had a piece of copper in the rear tire. Rear TPS on dash was
blinking BIG TIME and the triangle warning light turned red as well. That is when the tire pressure goes down
below 30 psi. Now time to get the front tire

I did a little "investigating" this evening. The Shinko tires are bias ply, the Metzlers and Michelin are radial, the Shinko are speed rated at S for the front and H for the rear and have a load rating of 65 (all withing the requirements of our bikes); the Michelins are H front and rear, and load rated at 67, meets OEM and exceeds requirements. The short time I had the Shinko on the rear of the scoot was with a Kenda front tire and was less than ideal but to be honest these were mounted by some hillbilly in South Carolina who lost the front TPM sensor and neither tire was balanced. In a matched set, properly balanced and not pushed to their limits I feel fine saying these will work on our bikes. I feel you'll need to pay closer attention in the rain (compared to the Michelin Road Pilot 4) and maybe slow down a little in some of the curves, but if your riding style is slow and steady these should work FINE.

Chapparel has these on sale, 124.55 for the front and rear Shinko tires. About $25.00 cheaper than Revzilla. Just thought I would share my thoughts and the sale at Chapparel. Sorry, that's 124.55 for the set, compared to the Michelin at $304.00.
