New member welcome thread..

Hi from north central Florida.
I bought my 2024 c 400 GT last fall, after selling my Can AM Spyder (never could buy in to the handling on 3 wheels). Had bikes since I was14, from 50 cc to Gold Wing, with CL, RT, Nomads, Concurs, 3 other Hondas and a KZ 650 until now at 71. Sneaked a 2025 CRF 300L in after the Can Am thinking lighter would help me with current health capabilities, was fun, tried a few hundred miles, but ended up selling when couldn't love it.
So far the c 400 is fitting in quite well, it's no RT, but 2 lane Florida roads don't need 100mph+++ the RT provided, and the Gold Wing was just too much like sitting in a car. With the C 400 I am amazed how much they squeeze out of this little motor, I can cruise at 70-75 on the Interstate or stroll along at 50 getting 70mpg, listening to Wind FM Stereo. ( I'll cover all my current mods in the mod thread.)
The forum is pretty quiet, but several regulars have lots to share. Mr. Pollack tried hard to help me with some fairing work and was appreciated. Thanks.
As the 4th BMW to own, I am familiar with a lot of quirks they can invent. (sideways tire stems, 100% failure rate gas gauge sensors, unreliable handlebar controls, etc.) and more than once I said "not again", but here I am. Probably be the last bike I buy (never heard that before).

Just wanted to add, I am in the BMW book and since I'm retired, I'm around the house a lot, so if someone needs a little help, tools, or even just to stop by and say Hi, you are welcome. Also if someone is a camping type, I have plenty of dry space or clean grassy spot in a pretty safe quiet place (except for 30 head of angus cows across the street).

Hello From NorCal! Bought my 2024 C400GT in December of 2025 for a screaming good deal, and I'm already enjoying riding the hell out of it. I've had a big bike before, and overall, I'm a scooter guy. Driving a slow bike fast is more fun for me. I joined the forum so I can do my best to stay informed in a community that knows more than I do.
Previous bikes: GSXR750 - 2006, PCX150 - 2019

Hi everyone, I’m Vincenzo from Naples, Italy. I own a 2018 BMW C650 Sport—painted Isle of Man Green with my own two hands. I hope you can help me resolve a few issues with my beloved C650, and I hope to be of help to other friends here as well.
