hello everybody, and thanks in advance for your support.
I'm very stuck on it. I can't remove the handlebar cover plastic piece. I need to do it just to install my gps device, need to pass cables trough the break level deposit to the auxiliary connector, I've already remove the black center plastic cover, already remove the torch screws (the 4 I can see) but the plastic cover refuse to go out. maybe there's some screws I've can's see and I don't know where they are. can anybody put me in the right direction?
I mean, maybe any assembly diagram from the handlebar cover? (it's a second generation scooter).
Pictures, draws, anything....
I'm really stuck on it.
thanks again,

The BMW dealer showed me the blowup diagram on the parts fiche. I used a thin piece of plastic (to avoid scratches) starting at the top where there is a large tap also one at the bottom. And slowly lifted it up so I could get my finger carefully under it and lifted which exposed the top tap and the two small side clips. Be careful not to pull up too hard as one could probably break the lower tap while it is still in the slot. Good luck

Hi I am being very thick. I am wanting to install a sat nav on the 650 gt (2016) ...I have llooked at he pictures and still have no idea how the removal works, nor any idea why the roundel needs removing. The manual doesn't help. Is there a link or anything to a video on how to do this in extremely easy steps?

Note: C 400!

On the off-chance that the handlebar cover of your 650 GT is attached like the one on my C 400 GT, I've attached two pages from the latter's shop manual that deal with this.

I really have no idea whether these different scoots use the same handlebar attachment process, but I thought I'd give this a shot, in hopes that it helps you out.

Thanks for that, Actually a little firm pull and away it came.

Any tricks on removing the handlebars cover? I tried today and no luck. I removed the center piece easily, unscrewed all screws in the middle, the side ones and the ones under the brake levers. The front closer to the dashboard came off but the rest won’t come out.

Bojan, did you ever come up with a plan to get the handlebar covers off? I'm in that position now and a bit of procedure would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dan
Hi Dan, yes I did:) there was no plan. Just remove the screws in the middle and start shaking the plastics and they will come off. I broke one pin removing them.
