Timed Out Attempting to Access Site

For most of this (Sept. 5, 2026) morning, I was unable to access the forum. Attempting to refresh the WHAT'S NEW page (https://www.bmw-scooters.com/whats-new/) on either my desktop Firefox browser or my phone's Safari browser, eventually I get this message:



(By the way, I just stay logged on to the forum all the time, on both my desktop and phone, except when an operating system upgrade is required.)

1) This happen to anyone else?

2) Even when not timed out, the site seems very slow to load quite often, at seemingly random times.

Both of these situations seem odd to me, as I don't imagine the site gets very much traffic.

Yes, same here, back to normal now it seems.

Another forum I frequent recently implemented cloudfare protection due to massive increases in bot visits (as in, daily visits going from say 2,500 to 86,000), over-burdening the site.
