That's why the bikes were redesigned for 2016...much improved across the board, particularly in the exhaust/sound department...

It's the ABS. The stock bike is set-up, like most, to lock the rear WAY too early compared to the front, so under harder braking the rear is locking and the ABS is kicking in. I'd play with your brake pad coefficient of friction to alleviate that, going for the more aggressive front formulation...

Easier to just change-out the standard H-1 & H-4 to brighter ones, like Sylvania Silverstar halogens...and no CANBUS weirdness..
