    Underseat storage bag

For two-up touring, we use the K1200LT. I only use the C650GT for two-up local rides, or solo touring. The old freebie Cycle World bag fit nicely in the front half of the storage area, and the rear half held my travel CPAP. Or, if I was camping, the tent, sleeping bag and Therma Rest fit...

    Map (or Route Sheet) Holder

Yeah, that looks like I'd have to take my eyes completely off the road to look. On a standard motorcycle tankbag, it's just a quick glance downward because it places the route sheet closer to my face. I was thinking of something that may clip to the handlebars and hold the route sheet...

    Map (or Route Sheet) Holder

A very popular kind of event around here is the Poker Run. Everyone gets a route sheet to follow, and you ride to various checkpoints to draw cards, throw dice, whatever. At the end of the event, trophies are awarded to best hand, food is served, there is often a band playing, etc. With my...

    Underseat storage bag

I had this nifty little duffel bag I got for free when I subscribed to Cycle World some years back. Unfortunately, it was pretty flimsy (as you'd expect from something you get for free these days). It fit PERFECTLY under the seat of my C650GT, so I was looking for something a little sturdier...

Pre-registration is now available: http://www.crvbmw.org/webImages/Rally_Reg_Form_2018.pdf Don't let me be the only scooter there AGAIN.

    C650GT - A camping connection

Not sure what you mean by "Serious Camping." I regularly go to BMW rallies and camp out, but as I tell people that isn't REALLY camping, it's "Sleeping in a tent." I don't have to carry anything but my clothing, tent, sleeping bag and toiletries as everything else is available at the rally...

    How cool is THAT??

BMW MOA International Rally 2018 Iowa

I'd love to, but I've already got a full calendar. I will be at Daytona Bike Week (but more than likely on my K1200LT as it is better at those long highway drones) and Americade (I rode my C650GT last year and may again). There is also the smaller Charter Oak Rally in north central Connecticut...

    What a shame.

http://www.countryrode.com/ These are the guys who got the C650GT back on the road for me the year it broke down during the Finger Lakes Rally. Very nice people and I hope they enjoy their retirement but it leaves a HUGE section of Northern New York State without a BMW motorcycle dealership.

    Snoopy needs some new "bling."

It's been awhile since I've looked. Any new "bling" worth checking out? I went looking for headlight guards again and unfortunately all I can find are the tinted variations. "Clear" seems to be out of stock. Wunderlich used to list these deflectors that mounted on the lower fairing to block...

    New BMW C 400 X Scooter

I can't say I'm a fan of the way it looks. Here's more info from the BMWMOA Site: http://www.bmwmoa.org/news/373356/BMW-announces-new-C-400-X-scooter.htm I guess the moderators are going to have to create a new topic in this forum now...

    C650GT 6 Months On

When you order the Wilbers, you should be able to specify your weight, your potential passenger's weight and the kind of riding you do and they'll build it to your specs. That's they way I ordered the Ohlins for my K1200LT. Unfortunately, Ohlins doesn't make a shock for the BMW "C" series...

    C650GT 6 Months On

Yeah, I have the same question. For us here in New York, "White Lining" is another term for "Lane Splitting."

I'm confused... did you get the C650GT or the C650 Sport??

    C650GT to make it quieter

Try the earplugs. I was a skeptic at first myself... but they primarily block the wind noise actually making it easier to hear everything else going on around you. Radio engineers would say it improves the signal-to-noise ratio.

    C650GT to make it quieter

My interpretation was that the OP wanted to make the scooter quieter for EVERYONE around him, not just for himself. That's why I didn't just suggest ear plugs (which I wear ALL the time, no matter which PTW I'm riding). However, if that was his ultimate goal, then I'd suggest these "Official...
