According to what I see: The bolt holding the caliper to the fork leg needs to be tightened to 28 Nm The clamping screws that hold the axle need to be tightened to 8 Nm The quick release axle itself should be tightened to 30 Nm Those figures are for the C650GT. I'm assuming the same holds true...

Your legs are two inches longer than mine. You will DEFINITELY fit better on the GT. After a long enough time in the saddle, I started feeling cramped on the TMAX. You can not only stretch your legs farther forward on the Beemer, you can also move them farther back, too.

For me, check with the customers of your local Yamaha and BMW dealerships and see which ones are happiest. Also, the C650GT has twice the luggage capacity of the TMAX without adding the trunk. It also has anti-lock brakes (which aren't even an option on the TMAX) and you get the better weather...
