    Helmet Sunblocker?

    Thanks for the review Lee.

    New from Holland

Hey sphy, glad you signed on. Get on the member map so you can be the second one from the Netherlands. The solution for the mud is a simple one. (I know you don't need me to say it.;).) 25km/yr is a pretty fair number. It will be interesting to hear what you think as you put more time on your CGT.

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

Ha, man oh man, can't tell you how often I have thought about going side car with one of my bikes. My BMW dealer is also a Ural deal but I have never test driven one. I have to admit that a side car seems more "motorcycle-y" to me. Is it, I wonder...

Wow! Kind of an MP3 with attitude. Thanks for the info.

    Helmet Sunblocker?

I bought one of those for the exact reason you mention, Lee. Never put it on a helmet but sure could have used it a few times. I do carry extra sunglasses I keep in a tank bag I use even with my tinted shield. Of course, here in Northeast Ohio I rarely need glare protection on either day the sun...

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

I had to leave early and unexpectadly (as you may remember from my text) but was also surprised there was no Beemer scooters there. BTW...Did you have your Zero at that point or did a test drive at the rally convince you? *************** Note to Kim...Can you provide a little more of what you...

    Dropped my 650GT today.

'Cause that's what you should do. You may not be able to, but you offer. You commiserate. Just like when you see a bike and rider stuck on the side of the road. We're in this together.

Whoa....We all have helped people in similar situations. The guy should have offered to help. (Ease up and relax. Now that your guy is back you're gonna win another Super Bowl. ;))

    Dropped my 650GT today.

I feel your pain das. There is a thread on this forum somewhere that talks about what couple of us did to fix the scratches on our Beemers. Basically, took fairings off and had BMW collision shops paint the parts. Mine turned out perfect and cost about $75 (made in cash).

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

A few different color selections and cruise control combined with the other '16 upgrades just might get some of the gen 1 folks to move to gen 2. Throw in the kind of cosmetic changes the C600/C650 got and the CGT just might do it for even more.

    Dropped my 650GT today.

My drops have been slow maneuver related. Trying to learn to do stuff beyond my skill set in one case and a near miss of a puppy while approaching a stop sign was the other. Have never had the no side stand down issue or slipped foot. So I guess they're still out there waiting for me.:D

Survivorman uses rope as a belt just for those MacGyver moments. I understand they are on sale at Sachs for under a hundred bucks.

    Hey Floridians! Check in please?

That's an extra 60 or so miles you didn't need. I understand things are pretty much cleaned up down in Hilton Head, SC.

    Kaoko fitting

I put a kaoko on my CGT and it fit. To be more accurate, I just took the bike up to the car repair shop I use and one of the techs put it on. Took him only a few minutes. Sorry, can't help other than to say that once get it on you'll like it.

Legs and leverage work. I've seen a smallish women get a full-size Harley back on two wheels. (Had to edit 'cause it just didn't seem right to say "up". ;)

How hot was it when you were there? What gear are you wearing?

    Starter or bendix problems

Man oh man, do you guys know stuff! I might tackle a couple things this winter as I recover from knee surgery, but sure wish I had 1/10th the engineering/mechanical/creative feel some of the folks on this forum have.
