    GPS Mounts

Depends on the size of your phone and whether or not you are doing jumps with your bike:rolleyes:. I have a Samsung Galaxy 6 in a shockproof/waterproof case and have never had a problem through all sorts of craziness including a spin out, a drop, and even an unintentional jump (Surprise...

    Motorcycle Wave

Yup and yup. I wave at everyone and even say "Hey buddy" (haven't ever heard a response though :D). A lot of folks wait for you to wave first. So, I don't hesitate so long as the conditions Jaime mentioned are not a factor. Harley guys are like any other breed (I am one of them). Some wave. Some...

    2017...Your Year to Challenge Yourself?

Last year was a tough year for me miles-wise. Less than 5k. Couple knee operations. This year, God willing, will be a good year. Planning on a trip to the west coast along with several smaller trips. It will be nice to get back to 15-20k. Tomorrow the RV show at the Cleveland IX. End of the...

    GPS Mounts

Ha....Perfect. But, yeah, I use an X-grip and my smart phones (I have two: Verizon and Sprint.....rarely need to use anything other than my personal Sprint phone) in an all-weather shock resistant case. When going through areas with poor reception I rely on paper maps. Although most long...

Just a test to see if I could upload a picture.... Well, that worked. Hmmmm, me thinks maybe operator error, Scootergal??;) I hope you get it figured out. Would love to see some of your trip pictures.

    2017...Your Year to Challenge Yourself?

Why not? Here's a rider that did just that a few decades ago. Talk about a challenge.... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SvCOmy2YEYI

I'm Convinced, the Epilogue; or simply, I replaced my C600

Sean Sean. So now you've become one of "those"....errrr, one of "us", to be more accurate....scooter+motorcycle guys. But a Ducati?? C'mon, that short skirt and cute little accent was what did it no doubt.:D Owner of a scooter (BV, BMW C, or whatever) and a motorcycle (even a hooligan bike like...

    Pannier frame 650 GT scooter

You tried the picture icon above the message box, right? I found that sometimes it takes a few seconds for the site to "grab" your picture file. And sometimes it didn't load at all. Also, fwiw, if you want to be sure you don't lose whatever you typed while waiting for the picture(s) to load...

Rode the scooter in 25 degree F weather last Friday.

Tough to blouse the coveralls.:D Although I have a pair of boots from the army circa 1969-1970 I wear once in awhile. Amazing how that last pair has held up over the decades. I have few pair of 36" inseam pants I bought knowing I would be using them for riding even though I have a 32-33"...

Rode the scooter in 25 degree F weather last Friday.

I tried something like that a few years ago (whatever they were selling at the local outdoor store) when out of town and caught in a surprise cold snap. Worked pretty well but ended up duct taping the cuffs to my boots to keep the cold air out for the 4 hour ride home. Inseam length was an...

    Bmw security chain

Yeah, I agree and the deal was pretty great. Plus, it looks like you could use the thing as a weapon!:D

Rode the scooter in 25 degree F weather last Friday.

That's pretty good, Tony. I have made the mistake of being caught out without my heated vest and enough other layers when I road further than intended and got caught in a storm. Came home with everything on I had on my bike, including my rain gear, and still had to have wife help strip me...

    Pannier frame 650 GT scooter

Bring sandals you can wear in the shower. Call your credit card company if going cross country. Large sandwich bags for waterproof storage. Hide an extra key somewhere on your bike. Pack less....... Then take more out. Motorcycle trips are the best.

Closed circuit (sort of) for SteveADV

Most excellent! Second week in September...You know we will be ready for a whole bunch of Sooner fans. Crimson and Cream against the Scarlet and Gray. Looking forward to it. We'll see who has to wear who's cap after the game (a posted picture will be required).;) (Admittedly, we got a little...

    Oooops!

I have not taken a track course, but I kinda agree with your observations about his positioning and attack angles. Nonetheless, I always like seeing a maxi-scooter competing.

    Oooops!

I was going to whittle this quote down to a couple points that I specifically agree with...problem is I agree 100%, so I used it all;). The only thing I would add is that experienced riders' skill set allows them to do things subconsciously that inexperienced riders do not do or take a second to...

What has everybody been up yo?

Not cleared to ride anything, so I just don't talk about my Kymco "therapy", but that is going ok:rolleyes:. At less than 400 lbs it is easy to handle.
