    Change of heart.

So far, I really love my C650GT. I looked at a F800GT, but I didn't really care for the seat config. Next year, I may revisit the R1200RT, but I'll have to decide which kidney I can live with out!! :D

    It's HOT up here!!!

Yeah, I have my first service scheduled for tomorrow in Chico at 08:00, so I'll be leaving here at 06:00. I just hope that I can get in and get out so that I can get back up to the mountains before it gets too hot. I'll be curious to see the oil change procedure with the internal filter piece...

Fuel display & Lassen Volcanic National Park ride

Thanks exavid, I always fuel on the centerstand.. So I don't think that may have been a factor. I am going to focus on the key position, so that the onboard computer gets a proper reset.

Fuel display & Lassen Volcanic National Park ride

So to celibrate hump day, I took a mental health day and cruised up to and through Lassen Volcanic National Park! I took off west from Susanville into the mountains. Leaving early in the morning and passing through the valleys, the temperature dropped down to 51F. So I thought, why not try the...

    K&N Air Filter??

Hello Scooter Folks: I have K&N air filters on my 4 wheeled conveyances. However, anyone out there replaced their stock OEM scooter air filter with a K&N? Any perceived improvements?? Also, I've reached the 750 mile mark on my C650GT, and I will be heading back to Ozzie's BMW in Chico for my...

    Thank you!

As a new C650GT owner and a new forum member, I just want to say thank you all for all the wealth of information and sense of humor here. This is a great resource to have available. Until the time that I can afford a R12000RT, I am quite happy with the C650GT, and I look forward to more road...

AeroFlow Windscreen Low - First Impression

Ok, I am on the fence on this $250 upgrade. I've only had my GT for about three weeks now, and I have about 750 miles on it. Most of those miles were weekend cruises 150-200 miles. I am 5'8", and the stock screen seems fine to me. When I look at the visual comparison between the stock and the...

    Oil light??

So this morning, I had a wonderful 270 mile trip through the Sierras. Great views of both Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen! The bike performed flawlessly. I got to watch the speed though, it's way too easy to go fast on this bike. Seems very happy crusing at 75 mph! Only saw one CHP. Anyway, I am on...

    Digital tire pressure gauge

Hello, any real life user recommendations for a good digital tire pressure gauge. Hopefully the color of the actual gauge is not a factor if it's not available in red or blue.... 😎🏍🏍 Thanks in advance! Lee

BMW Roadside Assistance Plan for Scooters?

So as a brand new owner of a 2016 C650GT, living in the rural corner of NorthEastern California, I am curious to find out what this plan really provides for if one needs to call their assistance number. The closest dealers to me are in Chico California, Reno Nevada, & Medford, Oregon. All of...

    "Wind Deflectors?"

SteveADV, I am not sure why there was a link created with my "wind deflectors" post. If you go to the BMW site for the C650GT, there is an accessory tab that lists and shows the deflectors.
