This account does not describe how Ceesie76 went back to the dealer each time the dealer messed up and presented the problems that the service dept. caused, and what the dealer's response was each time. IMHO you have to give the dealer an opportunity to make everything right before taking the...

This looks like an excellent idea. I detest the sidestand brake on my 2020 C650GT, because I greatly prefer to the keep the sidestand down when I push or centerstand the bike. I've ordered a BrakeFix, and plan to disable the sidestand brake.

Glad you solved your problem. I suggest that everyone install a seat release. Just attach a light cord or heavy fishing leader directly to the latch mechanism, so that pulling the cord or leader opens the latch. Bring the end of the cord outside the seat. It's unlikely that a casual observer...

I have also used the brake reservoir mount on my C650 for years. I mounted mine on top of the stock reservoir instead of replacing the stock part, as I was not confident about the fluid seal.

Removing this tape without damaging the plastic is possible but tricky. I'd be less worried about "ruining the resale value" than losing a thousand-dollar phone, so I'd put bolts through the 4 mounting holes. If you want to sell the bike later, a buyer may think that the nice secure mount...

The C650GT Rider's Manual says "Recommended fuel quality Super unleaded, (max. 10 % ethanol, E10) 89 AKI (95 ROZ/RON) 89 AKI" In the United States, the number on the pump is AKI ("Anti-Knock Index"). In the U.S., 89 AKI is normally sold as "mid-grade"...

Says who?

Which is why, at the very start of this discussion, I recommended consulting the YouTube videos of the Lockpicking Lawyer to determine which locking devices are most difficult to defeat.

Because lifting a C650GT is just as easy as pushing it up a ramp? Immobilizing and tracking are not "the job"; they are two distinct jobs. I would not claim that a lock makes a tracker useless or that a tracker makes a lock useless.

Based on a quick web search, I think the Monimoto 7 is a good product. It would be interesting to see stats on false alarms, failures due to poor LTE coverage, and police response times. It would also be interesting to test with the stolen bike loaded inside an enclosed metal trailer. But...

Check out LockPickingLawyer on YouTube. No lock is invulnerable, but he’ll help you avoid the worst ones.

I have them on my C650GT. They are not stick on, nor are they foam. They are quite capable of protecting the bodywork in a tip-over, which is their function. And “prove me wrong” is a silly rhetorical ploy. The author of a claim obviously is the one with the burden of proof.

Has anyone successfully relocated their C650GT handlebar a little closer to the rider? I used "Barbacks" like these on my Burgman to move the bars about an inch up and and inch back, but I'm concerned about the lengths of the hoses and wires on the C650GT.

I was doing 85 on the Garden State Parkway for a little while yesterday (with my golf clubs and trolley on the back). Rock-solid. I suggest you start by checking tire pressure, which is easy and free.

No, but I often sing inside my helmet. ?

In NJ, it looks like you could be warned or ticketed for using flashers just because you're stopped at a traffic light. (I am not an attorney, and this is just my interpretation of the law). The law is...

You think that the impact protectors are "stick-on" and you think that they're "foam"?

Sometimes it's safe to take a hand off the controls, and sometimes it isn't. I always do a head bow.

I second Delray's recommendation. The RAM Quick-Grip is by far the most secure and easiest to use. Make sure you get the model that fits your phone with whatever case you use. There are 2 sizes: https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-PD4-238AU https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-PD3-238AU
