I’m shopping for a throttle lock for my C400GT. I have tried the Atlas but they’re not universal as advertised. It ONLY accommodates grips with an inner flange of 2” or less. Ours are 2-1/4” in diameter. Both the Wunderlich and Kaoko interest me since they’re mounted on the bar end...

I’ve had my C400GT for 4 years now and only replaced the battery on each remote once….I bought a spare just in case. Both remotes are store in close vicinity to the bike…no more than 15’ away. I found the Panasonic batteries work better than the Duracells

RobP, do you have a mount in mind for your XT? There is a power connector under the handle bar fairings you can use.

Unfortunately you will encounter the same problem with the Hyperpro’s with the preload adjusters

When the shocks are mounted….the preload ring is located at the bottom. I’ve never had to adjust it. It may be difficult to adjust with the tommy bars provided because of the lack of space.

It’s common knowledge the speedos are incorrect. I have used apps such as speedometer to check speeds. It’s GPS driven but don’t know what the error margin is

I’ve gotten my C400GT up at 141kph. Never thought of pushing it all the way nor did I realize I was a couple kph away for the top speed. I had no issues getting it up there either.

Michaelbarth, Welcome to bmw-scooters.com! Please include a photo of the cradle mounted on your C400X. I can walk you thru the removal process. Cradle is worth about $125 intact. Cutting the cable will pretty make it worthless.

Sorry for the delayed response. Busy working on the house. I soldered a 24 gauge wire to the outside leg of one of the fuses as a trigger. I then drilled a 1/16” hole into the fuse cover to run the wire out to trigger my PDU. I hope you found the info helpful

Which camera are you using to make the videos?

Anyone install the BMW GPS Prep Kit on their C400GT/X? I’m interested but my local dealership was not able to confirm. I also called BMW Motorrad Canada and they deferred me to the local dealership. I’m interested in buying the ConnectedRide cradle with required the BMW GPS prep kit...

Not certain if that will work. The seat is mid point for the C400GT. I’m thinking lowering the rear will have little impact on the seat height. There is a lower seat option directly from BMW which only lowers the seat from 775mm to 760mm or just under 5/8” inch Good luck!
