Of what I read it only after the seat with the grey part at the back, and yes you should ask for a replacement free of charge at your dealer.

The problem is know at BMW they have replace no charge in Europe, why they don't do a recall I don't know. So you need to have a talk with you dealer.

I've read on Facebook France that some people had the same problem, some of them had a badly mount calliper.
