YSS does have a front option but I wasn’t comfortable taking apart the front forks or worth paying BMW Motorrad to install…$275.
Front kit only provides a compression adjustment. I may have considered if there was a compression and rebound adjustment.
The stock front suspension works fine as...
I stand corrected, thx to wspollack!!!
Hyperpro sells a kit which lowers tte front and rear by 25mm or 1 inch.

When the shocks are mounted….the preload ring is located at the bottom. I’ve never had to adjust it.
It may be difficult to adjust with the tommy bars provided because of the lack of space.
It’s common knowledge the speedos are incorrect. I have used apps such as speedometer to check speeds. It’s GPS driven but don’t know what the error margin is
I don't own a C400X so I will be providing you guidance.
Step 1 - If you can, please remove 2 x screws labelled as #2. Based on the picture provided, the 2 x screws #2 may not be easily accessible. If this is the case, please remove the 4 x T25 screws holding the BMW GPS cradle. Please be...
I’ve gotten my C400GT up at 141kph. Never thought of pushing it all the way nor did I realize I was a couple kph away for the top speed.

I hope you found the info helpful
Anyone install the BMW GPS Prep Kit on their C400GT/X?
I’m interested but my local
dealership was not able to confirm. I also called BMW Motorrad Canada and they deferred me to the local dealership.
I’m interested in buying the ConnectedRide cradle with required the BMW GPS prep kit...
Not certain if that will work.
The seat is mid point for the C400GT. I’m thinking lowering the rear will have little impact on the seat height.

Good luck!

I did zap strapped the wires to brake lines at the front of...
I’ve added Ridgid Ignites to my C400GT - spots and floods.
I made my own power distribution unit (PDU) using a waterproof Panasonic relay which gets triggered when the bike is running.
I chose the Panasonic relay because of its size vs Bosch. Here’s the relay I bought...
