Did you have to ride the bike for it to reset. I used the OBDLink LX. It indicates the the service has been reset however the messages did not go away. It is winter here so I have not ridden it.

@Rootctrl I just went through all this and it says service reset ok but the rerminder stays on the screen. Do you have to ride the bike for a little while for this to go away or what?

Mine was checked at the dealership last year. I am wondering the same thing. You may be able to check it through the BMW app on your phone. I don't know because I haven's set it up. I don't use the app because I have a Garmin GPS. you should be able to find out by calling the dealer.

That looks like a fine charger. I don't know why it wouldn't work. Keep us posted. Were you doing a direct charge or through the 12V port in the glove box?

I have left my key in my jacket pocket within 6 feet of my scooter for weeks and had no issues. It must be a close proximity key.

I had a similar issue. If the battery sets on the shelf for a long time it might not be fresh and can loose some charge over time. I purchased a second battery from Batteries R Us and it has been good for almost a year. I did ask them to test it for me and I assume their batteries are fresher...

I'm assuming the message was refering to the battery in the bike and not the key fob battery?

Congrats! Is that a 2025? Kinda looks like a perel white? They are super fun to ride. I'll be in FL in 2 weeks. To cold for me to ride here in WI. Can't wait to put some more miles on mine.
