If this happened to me the first thing I would check is to make sure the kill switch is off. The second thing I would check is to make sure your fuel pump is working. (You should be able to hear your fuel pump turn on when you turn on the bike.) The third thing I would check is that my spark...
I have about 5000 on my gt. But I did not try a speed test until I had at least 2000 miles. And I always did my speed tests on fairly level ground. I have never tried one on a downhill where my weight might be an advantage. I figured I could get 86 and that is what the manufacturer was saying...
I change oil and filters on my bikes. I have not changed break pads but I have a friend who is a good mecnanic and says it is really easy and he will help when needed. I have changed the rollers, belts, spark plugs, and cleaned the CVT on my Vespas. It was not that difficult. From the little I...
I just can't get 90 out of mine on a flat surface. 86 MPH as measured by my GPS which is 89 MPH on the bike screen. Maybe if I loose 40 lbs? (I weigh 220.)
I ordered one of these from CyMarc yesterday. It is cheap insurance and I just don't know about parking my bike overnight at hotels when I;'m on trips. I just rather be safe than sorry with the price of those screens.
Hi scoot rider:
If your bike is a 2023 or newer there is a company looking at making an electronic cruise for our scooters. They work on bikes by demand so the more demand the sooner they will get to it.
https://veridiancruise.com/
If you are interested in adding cruise I would go to there...
Maybe they are changing their business modle. Here in the Chicago/Milwaukee area it is either bikes or cars. The bike dealers usually carry different brands of bikes as well. My dealer features BMW, Ducoti, and Royal Enfield.
If you have never had cruise before you might not know what you are missing. I didn't. I had cruise and an electronic windshield on my Indian Challenger. I did not use the cruise all that much but when I had a long stretch of highway to drive it was so nice. (Most of my riding is in twisties but...
Well bust my buttons! The first reply I got from these guy's was an auto reply. Here is the second reply I got from them. Which is more encouraging. It sounds like they will definitly get to it. Just a matter of when. Based on demand.
Hi Michael,
Yes for sure its on the list and we will get to...
Yes they have a long list of bikes that they intend to get too and BMW is among them so I wish more people were interested because it looks like the other bikes on their list will be easier to do.
There were some issues with 2023 idle that was resolved with a software upgrade from the dealer. The dealer will need to look it up. It did not affect all bikes.
I just saw your post. I have been away from the forum for a few days.
I just visited their site and saw this on the first page.
BMW
Due to the wiring and software requirements that vary quite a bit from our standard controller and harness setup, we have decided that BMW bikes will be a lower...
Well I got my answer back from Kymco USA today. They left me a voice mail that said the AK 575 would be available in Europe. He also tried to stear me to the CV3 to get all the features I want. I may not have understood everything he said on the voice mail he left but they also sent the...
I called all of the three dealers that are within 50 miles of where I live. Two of them are closed until tomorrow. The third one said they are no longer a Kymco dealer. He said they are really good scooters but they had a hard time getting them. They stopped selling them 2 years ago. I'll try...
That is good news! Being made in Taiwan is the key. I bought a Vissani refregirator at Home Depot about 5 years ago, that was made in Taiwan. It was a few hundred dolloars less than those made in China. I assumed that was because of the terrifs? It's a beutiful fridge that so far has worked...
I plan to call them tomorrow. So when I did my search it brought me to an AI Overview. Dam it, I did not realize these were BS. The ones I have seen in the past were pretty acurate.
So I'm guessing they are not going to import it as it is made in China and the terrifs may be so high that it is...
So, I'm watching Youtube and this comes up.
So I watch it and notice the new Kymco AK 575. It has all the lights and whistles so I look it up to see if it actually offers cruise control (It shows cruise in the video.) and would't you know it, cruise is only on the Preimium version. I assume...
I would much rather have the 2 wheel premium than the CV3. But maybe someday who knows. I'm feeling prety healthy at 70 years old rt now. But that can always change.
I just watched this review of the Kymco AK 550i Premium and it said that the speed is regulated at 130 KPH which is a little over 80 MPH. After re-watching I discovered that is only when you are using the cruiz control. Other wise it will do 160 kph which is 99 mph. I also saw a review where...
