C650GT won't start after battery was installed with reverse polarity

I have a Sport but likely it's in the same place: right hand side, the panel front of the right handlebar. I would check the owner's manual also?

C650GT 2014 please identy this parts.

Look at these photos, it's underneath the engine just in front of the oil filter. A coolant tube:

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

I watched the video at 0.5 speed and can't see any wobble in the rear wheel.

Need new battery C650 Sport. Options?

The Honda branded battery on my 2010 Honda 300 sHi scooter is more than 10 years old (more like 13) and still works ok. That is probably exceptional, but I have more vehicles whose batteries I've not had to replace for 8-10 years.

Need new battery C650 Sport. Options?

One issue with antigravity batteries being discussed on the BMW K1600 forum currently, is that apparently they are sensitive to heat and can literally 'shut down' if they get too hot, which has been happening to some K1600 owners. On K1600s they are located under the seat, away from the engine...

    Looking for advice please.

The engines are made by KYMCO in Taiwan, so not China. I've been quite happy with my C650 Sport's engine for the past 7 years, except for the timing chain tensioner issue that is well documented.

    It can be done

So to close this topic - the C650 was indeed in the spot I left it 3.5 months earlier - dusty for sure, but in one piece. Someone did back into it somehow, since a small corner of one of the fairings was missing, but it's hardly noticeable. I did foresee that perhaps such a long time sitting...

    Looking for advice please.

I've myself not ridden on the back, but both my son and my wife often have, including on a 120 mile trip, and I got no complaints nor any comments/observations. The passenger part of the seat is wide and seems comfortable, as comfortable as the rider's part I would say, which is pretty good.

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

Your C650 may react differently to a loose bolt than my K1600, I would still just check whether the wheel is mounted properly, it's a one minute check.

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

P.s. when I got new tires fitted by a shop to my new-to-me K1600, the tech forgot (...) to tighten one of the front fork pinch bolts. As a result, the front axle had just a bit of play, which caused quite a vibration/shudder under braking. After I properly tightened that pinch bolt (the one that...

    Looking for advice please.

I would go for the C650 myself (I have one, but also own a Honda 300sHi). They can be found low-mileage at reasonable prices - plenty of power and considerably more than the 400: 60 vs 34, almost double. I would want the power reserve especially with a passenger and with hills in the path ... I...

    BMW c650gt front wobble vibration

What I would check is is the wheel straight, and is there any play in the wheel bearings? Good luck diagnosing, it's not supposed to do this.

Engine stalling when slowing - test idle control device?

If it runs well cold but poorly warm, it could be a problem with the O2 sensor. Cold, modern engines run in what's called 'open loop', meaning without using any readings from the O2 sensor using standard factory mapping. When warm, the ECU switches to 'closed loop' and starts adjusting air/fuel...

C650GT won't start after battery was installed with reverse polarity

No, besides the OBDLink dongle you will need the Motoscan app, I recommend the Ultimate license which may be necessary anyway for the calibration procedure. Android devices only, well worth the investment.

C650GT won't start after battery was installed with reverse polarity

I seem to recall something about a calibration procedure on the GT's windscreen - you nay want to check into that, Motoscan app may be able to do that for you. A good thing to have in any event if you do any maintenance or repairs.

    Squeaky brakes.

Try removing the brake pads (if these are traditional style calipers and pads) and coating the outside contact surfaces (the ones that touch the pistons and the 'grooves' in the calipers that the pads side in - obviously NOT the friction side of the pads that press against the rotors) with...

I'm new here and very glad to have found you!

Bienvenue Kiss4you, you've come to the right place. Your Sport looks great, good to hear you are enjoying it! There are other French members here, I think this is the best forum for this maxi-scooter. By the way I live close to San Diego in southern California, but spend summers at our second...

I have, and have recommended, the Easyboost set. It's perfect. Vive la France!

BMW C650GT remove center LEFT side panel

Service manual has all that info, you can find bootleg copies on DVD on Ebay, well worth the few dollars they ask. BMW no longer sells workshop manuals which is turning many off of ever buying a new BMW again. From memory I think you have to remove the top panel first. To do THAT, you need to...
