Type 2 Quick charger, single phase 30A.

Hi Tux - Here in the UK we have 230V mostly single phase for normal homes. I have the fast charging option and I have a single phase 7kW charger for my EVs (7 kW divided by 230 Volts gives 30 Amps - danke herr Ohm)). The CE-04 charges on type 2 plug no problem. You have to go into the charge...

ok good luck. My dealer is 40 miles away and they forgot to put it on the granny charger when I went for my service so i had to wait around for a while to get at least some charge in. I went to a local non- beemer shop for my MOT.

ministry of transport anual test MOT uk Where's the VIN

Thanks Bob66 very useful information. Took it on Wednesday and again the bloke wanted to see the plate and he was worried about undue force on the panel but from your advice I gave it a really hard tug and it came away at the top at least. He lay on the floor with a torch while I held the panel...

Took my bike for its first MOT to my local bike shop riding through torrential rain and with painful tendonitis in my left hand.. Where is the VIN they asked because they cant do the test without physicallt seeing the VIN plate. No Idea. We spend some time looking round but find nothing. So I...

How to keep 12V aux battery charged..?

Hadn't used the bike for quite a few weeks and when I started it, a big, frightening orange panel lit up saying battery critical - proceed immediately to charging station or something along those lines. I put it on charge but it was already 50% full, so imagine it was a 12V battery problem -...

Type 2 Quick charger, single phase 30A.

I am not certain about this, but I think that if you can't see the option for 30A charging it means your bike is not fitted with the high power charger. You have to choose the high charging option when the scooter is first bought - I don't think it can be fitted afterwards. I'm not sure the size...

    CE-04 Acceleration

Yes I suppose the figure I gave is the average acceleration between 0 and 50 km/hr for a quoted time of 2.6 seconds (which I missed out of my first edit) so there must be some higher and lower points in there - at the 0.9g you achieved, the force is much more.

    CE-04 Acceleration

It was raining when I tried out the dealer demo bike and also when I bought it and took it home. I had it in Rain mode both times. I had to do a couple of long journeys so switched to Eco mode. The first time I put it in Dynamic (or Hooligan) mode I was left grinning from ear to ear but with...

Let's push some feature requests on the devs of the Connected App

I have to back up my bike from a cramped garage, down my narrow drive with my car in it, sometimes my sons car as well. I would like a back up camera - I imageine a tiny low res camera would not be that expensive to fit.

Mounting GIVI Top Case on CE-04

I actually bought that bag when I lost my licence for speeding on my K100LT - had to buy a pushbike to get to work, so it is more than 30 years old.

BMW CE-04 range data as measured across 600 miles of riding

Interesting Data. I got my CE-04 last Thursday. Yesterday we visited my son in Northampton 38 miles away and used 6.4 kWh - so thats 5.9 miles per kWh. Not very good really. I had the heating off and the running lights off. I also have a Kia e-Niro and have achieved 5 miles per kWh for the same...

    How Long Did You Wait?

The schedule slipped 2 months this month so I gave up. Luckily they had the demonstrator on sale which is fully loaded (apart from windshield) at quite a reasonable price. So I bought that. Very pleased with it.
