    New member welcome thread..

Yep, the forum is pretty calm at the best of times, and now northerners like me are confined to looking at scoots in the garage.

2025 BMW C400 INNER FENDER - MIKE MAS

@Low On Cash : Nice find, nice work. For anyone interested, the two links on ebay by seller HEXN Motorcycle appear to be these ('25, and then '18-'24): https://www.ebay.com/itm/136903300762 https://www.ebay.com/itm/205716067743 FYI, I wrote a report here, a year or so ago, about my...

    2023 C400GT Re-flashing

@ISNOLO (et al.): You may be interested in a new short video that went up on Phad's site yesterday or today: Seems cheap and worthwhile. As I've mentioned, I wouldn't mind having this done, but -- speaking as someone who's already had one C 400 GT replaced under warranty because of an engine...

    2023 C400GT Re-flashing

The only outfit or person that I've read anything about along the lines of remapping a C 400 is Phad Motorrad. See, in general, www.youtube.com/@phadmotorrad/videos, and, in particular, this video from three years ago (I set YouTube's Auto-Translate to English): From what I've been able to...

    Clickety clackety

Not me ('23 C 400 GT, 8632 miles). But I put in ear plugs before I start the bike, and my hearing is pretty bad, anyway (I wear hearing aids off the bike). What year and how many miles on your C 400 GT? And do you do your maintenance on it -- oil changes, etc. -- or do you have a shop do it?

    New member welcome thread..

    1) Welcome from a C 400 GT rider in the Albany, NY, area. 2) I had my (former) '22 C 400 GT up to an 18Hz-GPS-verified 91.6 MPH (94 MPH indicated), but that was on a long downhill run: www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-yazEzpi_4 So I'm guessing that you're talking indicated on the speedometer. But...

    2026 BMW C400GT

A lot of folks enjoy the still-made Burgman 400. Head over to BurgmanUSA.com (I’m still a member there) if you want more info.

    2026 BMW C400GT

    1) Thanks -- I'd love to see your Vespa. 2) I subscribe to German vlogger "Scooteria," www.youtube.com/@Scooteria (and his English-language channel, "Marc Stones," www.youtube.com/@Marc.Stones ). Marc seems to always have a Vespa, along with a typically changing annual crop of maybe another...

    Electrics shut off during riding

Year and mileage? When was the last time the battery terminal bolts were checked for tightness? How old is the battery? Did you or anyone else make any electrical changes recently?

Diameter of side BMW badges on a C400X

Well, it wasn't much time. I mean, I was hanging out in my man cave / garage anyway.

Diameter of side BMW badges on a C400X

I just went out to the garage, and measured one. On my '23 C 400 GT, the side badge -- the badge on the upper front bodywork on each side -- is approximately 2.194" (5.573cm) in diameter: I say "approximately" because it's difficult to get a precise reading of a circle with that sort of...

Remove rear trim covers for 2024 C400GT?

I don't have possession of the bike at the moment*, so I can't eyeball any of this right now. However, hopefully these two pages will help you out: And I repeat ... WARNING: In https://billanddot.com/C400GT/#S-35 through https://billanddot.com/C400GT/#S-37 I describe how I broke the...

Remove rear trim covers for 2024 C400GT?

I have messed with -- tapped into, but cutting and intercepting will be the same thing -- the rear wiring on BOTH my former '22 C 400 GT and on my current '23 C 400 GT. I'm going to assume that your '24 is built the same way, in terms of this task. Here are my suggestions for what you need to...

In need of a sight glass for my brake reservoir. Options?

    1) Welcome to the forum. 2) Do you still have the glass itself (in case anyone has a suggestion for gluing it back in, or something like that)? 3) According to pages at CalMoto.com, https://bmwparts.crosscountrycycle.net, etc., the front brake assembly fits our C 400 GTs and Xs, but that's it:

    25 000 km engine dead.

This is a little thread drift, but as a former owner of 650 scooters (two Burgman 650s, for a total of 11 years), I would not want a 650 again. And I test rode the BMW 650 once, too, completely unsupervised. It may be a matter of fitness, age, and inseams, but, at 77 now, I don't want anything...

Also (in addition to my post #2 here), did you see the video that @sinosoul referenced in the post www.bmw-scooters.com/threads/fuel-pump-failure-causing-camshaft-damage-wth-is-going-on-w-this-scoot.3631/post-30723 :
