Had some customer appreciation bucks to spend after buying a new bike, and a raft of other goodies, so got some Clearwater Darla lights and saved a bunch O' money too.
Install was pretty straightforward, but I'm afraid to tighten the mount-to-shock bolt more, one side droops the light on bumps...
I got the tall one, it works fine.
Just the holes were "wrong", because of the way the screens are made. Holes first, then heated and laid over a form...nothing a dremel couldn't fix in short order.
..or a more expensive manuf process couldn't prevent in the first place.
I have a Nav 6 on my 2018 650GT, no such info comes across.
I mean, it is already on the dash...FWIW.
The lack of a proper Tach gets me right in the OCD, and lack of engine temp.._really_ bothers me.
Question: Is our OBD2 generic enough that you could pull that basic data from it to feed to...
Nope, no hard time at all.
I'll try to get up there for pics, no guarantee. Have to head out for helping at an air show today, wont be back until Tuesday.
They've seen my car, so they're fairly aware that I can turn a wrench ok.
Should be fine, its only under certain conditions at full left turn...
My dealer said no parts until late April at least...and customers cannot have the old part back.
Found the issue.
The nut on the variator...came loose..and then got locked up on itself...
Was properly torqued, made a mess. The sliders melted..shit everywhere. ;)
One side of the nut had about 1/3 of the thread missing, a shiny clean crack where it came apart.
War-an-tee.
