Anyone notice what's missing from this list?

I believe my dealer said the sell 650s 4 to 1 over the 600. I still think the scooters overall aren't selling as well here because BMW is doing a piss poor job marketing them.

    BMW C650GT Smell

Mine just has that hot exhaust smell. Nothing out of the ordinary.

    Convince me already!

I bought my new 2013 c600 for $9k not including taxes/title in October of 2013. There was the $1000 rebate and the dealer had it for $400 or $500 under list with the highline package if I recall correctly. The bike carries it's weight very well. There is a low seat option that may help but...

    Trip Meter Resetting

A wise man once said "If all else fails, read the instructions..." I typically leave mine on the trip meter that resets if the bike isn't started for 24 hours as I like knowing how much I've ridden in a day.

    You won't regret it.

    ??? reset tpms

Is a warning light on saying their is a fault with the TPMS? My rear one was pretty much dead from the day I bought the scooter. It was a dead battery in the TPMS sensor. They replaced it when I brought the bike in for the recall work. Mine had a warning light on indicating communication...

Was it worth it? Save $1000 or get the Heated Seat?

I'm in Chicago so our weather situation is a bit like NYC. Maybe a little worse. I don't know how people ride without heated seats and grips. The seat gets hot. Hot enough that I typically wind up having to turn it off at some point. I don't know that it is worth $1000 though as a...

    Helmets

The other thing that bugs me about the N44 is that it doesn't fit under the seat in the c600. You have to take the chin guard off. Not a big deal, but I really wanted to just plop it in under the seat. The helmet is kind of long.

    Helmets

I use a Nolan N44. Superb visibility similar to an open face helmet, but full face protection. I was thinking about getting a Schuberth C3 Pro North America edition, but I really can't justify spending the money. My Nolan is getting the job done.

    Water in flex case C600Sport

I've never really used the flexcase. It is convenient if you are riding two up and want to store the helmets or maybe your riding gear, but other than that I haven't found it all that useful. I just wish there were a better tunnel option. Maybe a hardcase that fit the tunnel.

    Convince me already!

I had a Vespa 300 for about four months before deciding to upgrade to the BMW c600. The C600 is basically a daily driver for me. It does everything and more that the Vespa did. Yes, it is a large scoot, but I have had no issues maneuvering it around in downtown Chicago with ease. I also love...

    Larger windscreen for C650GT

My Vespa seems to be off a consistent 5mph or so. However, the speedo on my BMW seems to be right on the money at least when I go through those radar traps.

    Bmw r1200rs

I keep saying I want a new bike but then I go out and ride my c600 and realize how great this machine is as an all around motorcycle/scooter. Between the heat seat/grips, power, storage, and comfort, it is really hard to beat this bike. We for a ride last night into town to pick up some...

    Bmw r1200rs

yes, racers (across all kinds of disciplines) are far more inclined to just stick with the devil they know versus trying something new. However, sanctioning bodies also often times hamper development of new technologies with rigid rules. It is rare that you see something developed for the...

    Bmw r1200rs

Really surprised there hasn't been any development of more advanced front forks on motorcycles. Seems like an antiquated design.

    Bmw r1200rs

So the 2015 r1200rs is really calling my name. Sporty, but not a crotch rocket. I like the touring bits. Also like that it has semi-auto up & down shifting (except from a stop). Also still looking at the Multistrada. The Nine T and Scrambler are also calling my name for different reasons.

2015 C600 Sport and C650GT Special Edition models

I like the paint/sticker schemes on both.

Interesting Gomparison of BMW C600 and Tmax 530!

Gotcha. The slight delay at take off is the one complaint I have about the c600. It pulls pretty hard once the clutch engages but it does make it feel sluggish for a 650cc bike at start.

Interesting Gomparison of BMW C600 and Tmax 530!

That is about what I got out of the comparison and others I've read. I'm curious as to how different the clutch setup is on the t-max versus the BMW.

Has anyone had the bike cut off

When the scoots were first released, I recall reading a few reports of a low speed stalling issue. Personally, I've never experienced it. There was a recall for the side stand as some people had it loosen just enough to trigger the engine shut off. I don't know if the two issues are related.
