The right tool for the job.

I think a shopping bag hook would be good, although I haven't lost anything from a bag hanging on my handlebar grip. Usually the top box will carry what ever I need to carry.

    Battery died after 3 years.

Keep the battery on a "Tender" year round whenever you aren't riding, and your battery will last for a lot longer. Three years isn't really that bad.My last Honda, I got ten years on the battery by keeping it on the tender. Also, make sure your battery terminals are staying clean.

Hepco & Becker Alu rack on a C650 Sport?

The C600 has a couple of holes in the passenger handgrips that might need to be used, the C650 doesn't have them.

Most people won't jump into a medical emergency unless they have training.

    Dropped my 650GT today.

In the eighties I worked at a place with a lot of guys that had bikes. One weekend, a bunch of them went to a rally in the next state. On the way back a bike broke down and was left at a garage to get fixed. The owner had no way to get out to the other end of the state to pick it up, and none of...

    Helmet Sunblocker?

My Bell helmet has a "Transitional" shield and I really like it. It is dark enough 95% of the time. Ride directly into a low afternoon Sun and a pair of sunglasses might be needed. I have a visor used for my half and three quarter helmets. I had to spray paint the underside black as a low sun...

Again, who is responsible who pays if he gets hurt? What is wrong with asking for help if you need it?

    Dropped my 650GT today.

Why should he have helped? And if he hurt himself who would be responsible. A dropped motorcycle is not a life or death situation. A tow truck is just a phone call away and no one would get hurt or miss lunch. It is always wiser to use trained help in difficult situations to avoid injuries or...

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

One big thing that I didn't mention was the fact that the trade in value was dropping faster then my payments, and I always pay extra.

    webBikeWorld compares 1st Gen and 2nd Gen C650 GT's

I was interested in the new models and went to look at them. A test ride wasn't necessary as I was most interested in comfort and the performance of my 2013 is more then adequate for my riding style. I was interested in the Sport so sat on it first. Nope, it wasn't more comfortable, so it was...

    Dropped my 650GT today.

You dropped your bike, why was the guy eating lunch expected to help you get it up? Should he risk hurting his back. Maybe he had a heart condition or a hernia.Maybe he didn't want to embarrass you. Why are you trashing him, you dumped the bike.

I think I posted this link before, and it looks like a good alternative to the backwards lift, although I haven't tried it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO-fW6ZeXuk I had a Harley a long time ago and found that after "foot slips" a couple of times, that they aren't that hard to get up if...

Buy her a Slingshot, I bet she comes along.

    Starter or bendix problems

Sounds like you have several problems, carburetor and electrical. Seeing that someone drilled holes in the CVT housing, I suspect you might want to look for other unusual repairs.

    Rear wheel doesn't spin freely

The CVT will create a little drag, but , not to the extent dragging brakes will.
