    Timing Chain Tensioner Recall

basically guy's, if the body of the tensioner has no date stamping on the body of it, it needs replacing. i witnessed a GT motor that the tensioner let go and the chain had jumped on the inlet cam sprocket but no witness marks on either the valves or pistons.

Summary of computer updates, service bulletins, and recalls please.

    Timing Chain Tensioner Recall

i like the idea and from what i have seen inside a good head skimming to raise compression would do wonders. the ports already look good. just before i traded my tmax for my 600 sport i was looking into a turbo for the yam, that would be the best way to pull more horse power and kits available...

DON"T LET THEM UPDATE the COMPUTER!

it's simple, you don't have to have an update if you don't need one, most scoots will have had an update before this supposed glitch and a 2014 scoot will not need it anyway.

she goes in on monday, oh yay

What we have to remember is the fault is the tensioner and not the chain.

she goes in on monday, oh yay

the chain looks up to the job to me, as for the drive chain i would say as long as it's still in the limit of tension then use your own judgment as when to replace. i have taken a 3000 mile one apart and the painted sprocket at the rear hasn't had the paint worn through yet. the regina o ring...

Hello, just got a newish C650GT

hi, welcome. the only answer to that seat has been answered by jamie, i understand if it is too tall but i do cringe when i hear of people lowering the bike through suspension, all it leads too is no cornering clearence and handling problems. hope you find an answer and also hope you enjoy your...
