Thank you, next week I’ll go to the dealership and try to find out what’s happening. I don’t suspect on the suspension as the bike has 8k miles and everything feels nice and smooth. Thanks Mjnorris, I’ll definitely update when I find out what’s the issue. I don’t believe it’s the rear because it would probably pull on one side or the other. I’ll have to go to the dealership and have them inspect the bolts on the handlebars head. Ben

Adjusting the preload didn’t help. I tried again, on a slow speed around 10mph disengaged transmission, I release the handlebars and the motorcycle slowly goes on the left and then on the right. The handlebars are turning an inch to the left and then to the right. Any suggestions appreciated:)...

I don’t suspect a loose bolt because I already had the wobble. That’s why I installed new tires, I thought the front tire was the problem. Tires were installed in a BMW dealership so I doubt they would leave a loose bolt. I will try to play with the preload today and see if there is any improvement.

I don’t have the issue when I apply breaks. No wobble or vibration on brakes.

I just tried going downhill, speed around 10mph, when I remove my hand from the handlebars the front wheel does turn right and then left. Like 8th as I mentioned.

Hey guys, I tried couple of times removing the brake pads screws but no luck. I sprayed them with w40 and still nothing. Any suggestions I can try. I don’t want to use a drill driver so I don’t damage the screw. Thanks, Ben

On mine it was the cam chain tensioner.. Replaced and the rattle was gone immediately. Now on taking off I have a shutter when the bike is cold, it could be the clutch. I have almost 15k miles on it.

It was the timing chain tensioner. Replaced at the Dealership, now runs like new. I had the old mechanical tensioner which was not recalled and now they replaced it with the hydraulic one. Ben

Yes, I read that somewhere. They say that the models after 2014 have updated mechanical tensioner and they have not been recalled so far. But I don’t understand why I can’t just replace the part with the same mechanical tensioner.

There is only one video on YouTube and this guy is just swapping the tensioner in a minute.

Thanks for your reply Orlando! I just spoke with the dealership and they told me that my only option is replacing it with the hydraulic one. Around 900$ parts and labor. I don’t know why replacing with the mechanical one is not an option.
