This is in the UK but I assume there is a version wherever you are! In the end I got my dealer to fit them for me - they fit perfectly and the dealer actually assumed they were Wunderlichs . The mirrors do indeed come...
Just purchased the Amazon version of these - identical except no Wunderlich engraved on them and no instructions. Luckily the Wunderlich ones are down loadable. Only one question - how easy is it to remove the plastics to get at the mounting point? Do you need to remove the mirrors? - the bike...
Finally sorted out my android phones issue. Turn on the app, connect bluetooth then check on the phone in your bluetooth sttings what permissions the bike has. Mine had media turned off, even though it previously had been on. Something (bike, phone, another app?) had disabled it.
Mine happily takes phone calls but when I try to use the navigation and media functions it will not recognise the app. Most frustrating as it was working fine till two days ago.
Final report. The BMW system cannot detect the parasitic draw of the USB charger but turns off ok if a phone or similar is plugged in. Not a problem unless you leave the bike for a long while with no trickle charger.
No worries Bill
I plugged my satnav in and came back 45 minutes later to find both it and the tell tales had gone out. Final test will be to plug in the lead and leave it overnight and see if it goes out. Bike is on a trickle charger so battery voltage will not drop. Could be that mine has a quirk?
I think you may have hit on the problem. I have a din to USB adapter fitted with two usb ports on it and a blue tell tale light. I shall try plugging a SATNAV into it and see if that triggers an auto power off....
I have the 2019 model which only has a hella Din plug. The manual does state a fifteen minute shutdown time. The reason I posted my question is that it was still live after 40 minutes. I had powered off, left the cubby hole open and taken the key inside. I was wondering if the cubby has to be...
Strewth. Not a problem with the old dials we used to have. I would be interested in one of thee if it is straightforward to fit and not too pricy (pensioner).
I pick it up next weekend from Suffolk so it will get a work out down some country lanes on the way home. Got to be better than the springs on an ADV350!
Hi, I am from Norfolk in the UK. I am a bit old and spend a lot of time shouting at technology. I have always ridden bikes - currently have a Honda NC750 with DCT but thought I really should try a scooter before shuffling off this mortal coil. I did a lot of research and test rides before ending...
