Thanks @Ceesie76, that helps a lot. Yes I’m moving it with the tool for sag adjustment. That’s how I found out. I hope that’s the problem so I can finally solve the low speed wobble and crabbing ( lines on both tires on opposite sides) Ben

Hi Dan, yes I did:) there was no plan. Just remove the screws in the middle and start shaking the plastics and they will come off. I broke one pin removing them.

I’ll definitely do it at the dealership but it’s not that complicated. I’d say maximum 2 hours labor. Just front left and right panels need to come off, also the handlebars cover.

No news:) I’m still waiting on Michelin to approve the claim so i can replace the tires, but I suspect that’s not the problem. When the motorcycle is cold, I’m in NYC so temperature is around 30es, I feel swaying on very slow speed and then it gets better. I’m 99% sure the problem is in the head...

I tried today to remove the handlebars cover and check the torque on the head bearing but no luck:( couldn’t remove the plastic. I removed the center plastic easy, unscrewed all screws and it didn’t want to come off. Any tips?

Any tricks on removing the handlebars cover? I tried today and no luck. I removed the center piece easily, unscrewed all screws in the middle, the side ones and the ones under the brake levers. The front closer to the dashboard came off but the rest won’t come out.

I was just checking the tire beads and noticed that they are a bit off on both tires. Could that be the problem? This are photos of the rear tire. I’ll post a video where you can see the play.

Just an update. I went to the BMW service today. The technician rode the bike and did replicate the wobble. He said that head bearing wouldn’t wobble like that, it would be a different wobble. They checked front tire and even did dynamic balancing. Everything else, forks, wheel alignment was...

I didn’t mention, check the oil dipstick and make sure it’s properly closed. That’s right on top of the kickstand.

Yes old one:) Never resolved that one. The kickstand was all covered in already dried oil. When I had it checked at the dealership they told me it’s normal and they couldn’t find any leak. As for the misfires I had the chain tensioner replaced with hydraulic one and that solved the problem...
