Howdy from the Snowy SW USA. Anyone know for certain the spark plug number for the 2012 C600 Sport Please. My manual says:
NGK CR8EB Google says LMAR8D-J They are different as the NGK is shorter at the tip
lol. great idea. Actually after researching chipped keys for scooters, motorcycles and high end cars, the professional thieves can actually get into any car/motorcycle in less than 3 minutes and drive off. Keys are no longer great protection. The devices can be purchased for cheap on ebay etc
Update in "Duplicate Chipped key" saga: Well, the Locksmith in Georgia finally got back to me. Seems the 2012 C600 has a totally more complicated ignition Theft protection system than the 2013 and newer. The C600 2012 key can not be cloned. I would have to remove the key ignition assembly and...
After actually inspection it is actually better quality than pem BMW. Oem has an aluminum bushing and this replica has a real brass bushing. Brass will wear 10-1 over aluminum
I purchased a right brake lever from AliExpress for $22. Wow it is a great quality aluminum brake lever. Perfect. Not cheap pot metal but actual good quality. If you are interested I can attach a link
I went to my local locksmith yesterday to get my new BMW Scooter key cut. The key works great but was told it has "No Chip" Now I need to figure out how to get a replacement chip and have it programmed. My understanding is that the GS911 does not have the capability to program new keys with...
Thanks Mjnorris. I am not sure if the C600 and C650 used the same type key. I am not even certain how to check if my key has a chip. I ordered a key blank and waiting. I do know I can get the numbers stamped on the key socket and my locksmith can cut the key exactly. As far as a chip...I...
Cup/phone holder is complete. I use my coffee cup hold to hold my phone. Ram mount does make many different styles of phone holders. The great thing about ram products is that one can use the same attachments to go from bike to boat to car in seconds.
Can you share a link to the horn please. Instead of beep beep I want honk honk. I had an air horn on my k1600. I just wired it directly from the battery with a 12v relay hooked to the horn button
This after market cylinder is stronger so the seat is forced about 1/2in to 1in to the side. When I close the seat I have to push it to center. After a few months I will update this post. I use my seat several times per day so it should break in fairly fast I hope
Update fog lamps. Completed. I ended up just tapping off the two wires that feed the riders left side running light. The fogs come on automatically then the bike starts and shut off when the bike is off. Looks great. I upgraded the running lights to 12v led. No canbus issues at all. Next...
I found this seat cylinder at walmart.com. Just installed it in about 5 minutes. It works well but is slightly too powerful so the seat is pushed over abut 1" to the left. I think as it weakens it will open and close more easily. The seat does pop up by itself now. For the price I think it...
