It's about the same height. Maybe A tad lower once you actually get all the way into the seat, but for the most part you're about the same ride height as in the stock seat. Way more comfortable, however.
You can go on their website and price it out, but the base seat is around $800 with dual heaters. As far as the colors, I chose the white strip that’s on there. I was trying to match my bike a bit. What you can’t see in the picture is I had them use blue stitching. When you order a seat you...
I volunteered my my Scoot to Corbin R&D for a seat and Backrests so if you look at the Corbin site it now shows 2012-2019. First of let me tell you it was an experience being there while they made the seat. They designed and made it while I watched. It was amazing to watch them work and design...
Just to be clear, I've been able to fit Both (at the same time). The front one MUST be upside down and the rear smaller open face helmet needs to be at a very precise spot or the seat wont close. Play around with it, it'll fit...
I've been able to put an XL flip up fulmer as well as a full face with shield under the seat. It's all about placement. The front helmet needs to be upside down for it to fit. The back helmet needs to be kind of centered on the hump. You may need to adjust it position a bit to get the seat to...
I believe your model already has the cvt mods. BMW corrected that back in 2016. It's the gen 1 models that needed it. Have fun with it... They're pretty quick scoots.
Ah, yes. Another speed nut [emoji6]. 115 with the trunk on, windshield all the way down. They are great alternatives for goldwings. I have the same issue. Just sold my last wing, actually a Valk. Had both knees replaced a couple years ago and I was just to shaky trying to maneuver it around...
You have waaaay more than 80 on that scooter. It’ll do well over 100. Actually into the teens if you lower the windscreen all the way and duck a little. A friend of mine told me so [emoji6]

I'm curious as to how they got a Corbin on a '16 model. When or if you already got it can you send some pictures? I've been talking to Corbin and they only have 2012-2013. Part #s for 2016 are different, but perhaps they're minimal differences and you have one from the older models. BTW, I too...
Thanks for posting all your progress and subsequent success. Good Tech article. Question: did you try with just the new cable installed by completely taking the stock cable off? Just wondering if it us just a bad ground cable (obviously it is, you've proved that). If it works, why not just leave...
Thank you for the responses. I did get the 2016 model and man, what a nice machine. Very impressed with how well it does on the highway. Took it for a 200 mile ride this weekend to see if its up to the task of touring vs my wings and Valkyrie. So far so good. Cruised 75-80. Good range, went 186...
Just looking to getting into a gt 650 and i'd like to ask those in the know what the major differences between a new 650 gt vs a 2014 or even 2016.
Thank you in advance.
