Fuel-evaporation control valve: Charcoal filter is a big lump, easy to find if it has one. It appears: the vent hose from tank may just go to nowhere. Fuel-evaporation control valve comes from crankcase then into charcoal cannister ?????????

Is the fuel cap vented? if so, then vent pipe 4 is not required to vent. As far as I'm aware the vent pipe 4 is for fuel charcoal filter.

Remove from base of seat foam. Seat is now softer, allows your arse to sink. Works for me.

I've ran darkside many years on other bikes. I just need to know how much clearance.

Any tried it. Clearance? Thinking of tying 155/60 15.

It's a simple process to remove foam from seat and keep the heat. All that is required is a stapler and a sharp knife. 30mm ish removed.

I used to always solder all splices, now I just twist and wrap. Not only easier but I believe more reliable.

Yup. It's just an over-price BMW plug. Any plug will do. I prefer not to use solder. Twist and wrap more reliable :)
